I made this fun "shaking" 3D Earth graphic using the Natural Earth dataset with an orthographic map
projection. It uses chromostereopsis, a color-based depth illusion where red and blue light fall on
slightly different spots in the eye, creating a horizontal offset that the brain reads as depth.
"Head left and right, let's dance with Earth."

Based on my earlier chromostereopsis globe, I also created another stereogram centered on the Western
Hemisphere. To see the 3D effect, try the "magic eye" parallel-view technique and view it at roughly
phone-screen size.
Note that this can be very challenging. If you've never succeeded with stereograms before, it is
totally fine not to force it since it may strain your eyes.
